It's a shame that Bush
is so unconcerned about the environment. Burying streams, which causes run-offs to be diverted or disappear entirely, sounds like enviornmental destruction to me.
Nearby where I live there are protected wetlands, places for birds to rest while migrating. Time and time again development interests have tried to buy up those acres and use them for commercial and residental construction. Each time they've been defeated.
I think most people agree that we have to protect the enviornment and development should be carefully planned to enhance enviornmental concernes, not destroy it.
It's too bad Bush
never felt that way. Thank goodness he has only a short time left in office.
