I'll be here soon enough, I just got done making dinner this morning/afternoon because the last 3 days have been too hot to cook anything other than microwave meals.  We prefer Homemade.

Well, I cook no matter how hot it is, but we do have air-conditioning. Made meatloaf in the oven yesterday, along with cornbread.

My eyes are bothering me today/night - allergy.  I'll post in the morning after they've hopefully cleared.

Off to work. Getting hot again.

S, please.  Seems to stay hot day & night & with high humidity making it feel even hotter.  No night time breaks & even the early AM (4:30 - 5) dog walks find no relief.

Props to you, Angie.  Microwave, stove top, grill or out of the frig for us most nights.  We have central A/C but it just feels too hot to deal with a hot oven most nights.  Corn bread does sound very good though.  Add creamed corn to mine. Hmmm.

I was busy making a quiche; the pie shell that we had in the freezer had a huge crack in it.  I didn't want to spend time waiting for it to be room temperature and play with the dough to fix it; I had a rolled up pie crust in the fridge .. . . .for some odd reason I broke out in a massive sweat just trying to unroll it to the pie plate. 

We have an excellent toaster oven that I can use for baking in the morning; our nights have been  pretty warm, too.   The fan in the kitchen isn't adequate enough to do anything. . not even dry off the sweat.   Space is a premium . . . .
