THIS is the time I finally get to be at the computer to type the update; today, Ka'at has two visitors - NA and Nurse. Not at the same time. Yesterday, she had a Physical Therapist and New Year's Day ( which surprised us all) a Nurse came a' calling. Nurse for taking care of the skin ulcers and the NA for "head-to-toe" general care.

Everyone complains about the same thing, if only she had a hospital bed it would be easier; problem is that bed wouldn't solve the skin ulcers.

I did find out from the Nurse that her ulcers would heal faster if she ate more protein ; Ka'at eats plenty of protein but I guess not enough, eh?

I hope I'm not boring you with this stuff; I'm not on FB so I don't yammer there.

We keep asking if her medical insurance covers it all , and we're told YES! She has Medicare only. We occasionally get the rest of the bill and sometimes can pay it in monthly installments of $10.00 until it's paid. Other times, they forgo sending us the rest of the bill knowing our predicament. Yay!

Off to check on her, and back to bed. . . . TY

CA has A supplement to medicare?

My Nephews dog got in a coyote trap, vet bill, sis used his $ now short for nursing home room. she should have stopped the checks going to bank, pd vet payments, always have b4!

Hubby and I went to see the new Star Wars movie today at a theater. The first time in probably over 20 years. We both thought it was good.

WoW, just WOW . . .Hope the dog is ok; hope it all gets straightened out, Henry , and soon.

Ka'at's over the limit ($100.00) to get that extra State Insurance and therefore would have to pay the State $500.00 a month in order to use that extra insurance. affraid

If she could afford that much a month she'd be with Blue Cross or something.

I know. . we haven't been to a movie since Ice Pirates (1984) it starred the late Robert Ulrich, and at that it was a matinee.

Dog is fine, hope the trapper thins out those varmints! B i l is supposed to keep near yard when outside when they go to work all are kenneled in house.
