Hubby went to the hospital yesterday. He has not been able to eat much at all, it has steadily gotten worse over the last two or three months. So they've been running all kinds of tests. They can't find anything wrong. They are worried about him having a slow heartbeat, so want to do a stress test in the morning. So that makes two nights in the hospital so far. Have also put him on a clear liquid diet. He is beside himself. I took off work today, and probably will tomorrow too. He will hopefully get to come home, but still doesn't solve the non-eating problem. He's lost about 10 or 15 pounds already. Been hell to live with, too, lately.

They're trying to get her skin ulcers under control at the moment; some have healed and a few are on their way to getting there. One of them is on her backside and the Nurse today wanted to use a patch that I told him not to use and the reason why. So now I finally have one "listen" to what I said and he put in her records she's allergic to it. She went from a tip of thumb-size to palm-size while trying to clear it using a patch. It was almost like it "burned" her ; it's finally healing after 2 months. New skin is forming and it's not stinking anymore. wooohooo

Dressings get changed twice a day ; she got her Medicare statement yesterday and they paid for it all ?! Dec.21 to Mar. 31.
