Angie if you do not know where your nearest food shelf / pantry is I would locate it and visit as soon as you are allowed, I expect it will become quite busy. some can only go so often.

Nephew after getting meds through feeding tube is improving, were ready to discharge a few days ago! but paperwork for his new group house was not finished yet.  wanted to haul him to a nursing home for a few days I guess place staff talked to them.

He had been evaled on hi bi polar and anti stroke meds since my dads funeral when he started spiraling. lost a lot of weight, dr not told by group home staff, meds not adjusted! he was in a major hospital, they never had a mental health consult!  

Then again over Christmas, oh he wants to die we will send him back to his house they can keep comfortable!  his stepdad could have strangled them. said no he is going to different hospital. they did not like it.  well okay we will send to xxx well that is where he got worse metal health wise. so around they went finally sent him to the hospital that fixed him after his stroke.  reworking med dosages, house ready in a few days so 2 days later in the week I'll be gone as we move his belongings to his new place. several trips over the 2 days we are in about the middle and most of an hour both ways.  Hoping that soon he can be told his animals, except a few rabbits are gone and the farm was sold.  and step dad has cancer but is holding pattern right now.

new place has nurses on staff, large place, 20+ residents I'm told and know how to draw him out, work through bipolar difficulties.

only about 1/2 hour from his brother. So can see him and his 3yr old niece, 8 month old nephew more.

Wow, Henry, a nightmare on making ...but a light at the end of the tunnel!  What a journey your family is experiencing...

Hope all works out for your Nephew and family.  Good Luck on the move ; Henry, You be safe too....considering you've been fighting some health bug,too.
