No, would not make even a decent gaming rig, my budget build $400.00 rig will out perform you in any game , from crysis to CODMW2 . when they made the QuadroFX 5800 it was made for more of holding large graphical files , like CT scans and MRI, or like say large models for a graphic designer, I am sorry but that will have very poor performance in gaming......
