The replacement came in last night but I was still getting a black screen , so I'll wait a few more days hoping/praying everything works out alright.

I haven't backed up anything since Sept 2013 on a portable hard drive . . but have to the One Drive ( SkyDrive). . pictures. I haven't figured out how to back up txts that aren't MS docs.
I can't leave the laptop running while I go dither somewhere else in the house. . because it shuts down .
So, I'm updating the game and hope the laptop works tomorrow. Fingers, toes,and feet are crossed.
