I just woke up thirty (30) mins ago ; I can't believe my family let me oversleep that long.  Ka'at said she didn't try it because she knew I'd been working really hard this last week preparing for company.  Running to the store to get emergency groceries / and kitty litter .  The kitty litter that I normally get they ran out of . . so I had to buy the 20lb bags.  I can't carry them up the flight of steps to my place so my 77 yr old Papa-San had to do it for me.    He carried a 20 lb bag in each hand. . .. I guess, that Marine Corps strength hasn't left him after retiring in 1980!

I sometimes buy 20's, usually 40 lb box of walmart. Down to 3 cats. [ Glad am I ]

Angie you had two which litter are you using?

Unless you want to dump the box often DO not try Brilliance litter, stinks on day with more than 1 cat.

For me it's either Johnny Cat or Tidy Cat ; I've tried other brands but when you have cats who'd rather use the floor outside the box ( on strike ) then you know they don't like the new brand on their paws! 

I agree , with you Henry, some litters don't last one visit before one has to change it immediately or smell it reeking throughout the house quite strongly, and embarrassingly when one answers the front door!

I just finished working with a new Housekeeper, and she did a bang up job; I found through an ad on a Forum . The Company is called "House Joy"; we got a Special deal of $20.00 an hour and it's good for one month.  She cleaned my kitchen and bathroom- spotless, and cleaned the refrigerator/freezer, too.  They're not supposed to do dishes but she did mine , and I tipped her for the 4.5 hours ($14.00).  The Company wanted to add it to my tab, and said that their Housekeepers got 100% of the money?!...yeah, right.

I gave it to her personally, so that I knew she got it.

I usually use Walmart's store brand. Sometimes Tidy Cat. I have two litter boxes. Scoop every day. Thorough clean once a week. Still have two cats.
