never heard about the soap thing

I've been using the Ivory Soap under the sheets, at the foot of the bed, for over 6 years. ..and it works for me!  


I just finished looking it up and there are several, including Snopes, that say it isn't scientifically proven to work?! ( it does!)


I actually have two bars so that I can have my leg between them.  If it's my foot and it runs all the way up to my knees then I hop outta bed and throw the bar on the floor and stand on it.  


I heard about it via a Natural Talkshow - Dr. Bernie Siegel, who is a Board-certified Internist.  Before then I was prescribed  (back in the early '90's)
Quinine, however, it has some major side effects. The FDA (in 2006) suggested Drs not prescribe it for Leg Cramps because of the side effects.  


I think he said it's a lack of Magnesium or Potassium ( or too much Potassium [ as in my case ]) that causes the Leg Cramps .  Not sure if this Natural Remedy works on Restless Leg .  


I don't know why on Preview this post is two different font sizes.  
It doesn't matter what size, the bar,it is as far as I know.

Yeah, I've had foot problems all my life. Had a doctor tell my mother I would always have problems. My work doesn't help. Have to have real good shoes. Have extra insoles with extra support.
And my feet still absolutely kill me.

Not sure. I turned both ankles over when I was very young. That's when my mother took me to a bone specialist, who told her I would have problems. I saw a doctor many years ago who said I have arthritis in my feet. Epsom salts have never helped much.
