Hi

First, I'd like to thank everyone that PM'd me in Scorpion's Xtreme 4.0 forum. Suzy, Henry, Wyz (Tiz?) and GFyre. And many thanks to GFyre for posting the lost posts archived from the Web-Nuts Forum.

After W-N I wasn't sure I wanted to participate in anymore groups other than the ones I was already involved with. But your warmth & sense of community proved hard to resist. Great seeing the Webtv/MSNTV 2 crowd settling into various internet access devices & PCs. The settop box route wasn't an easy road to navigate but it was a helluva ride!

You are another familiar person to me. I've been lurking Scorpion's groups for ages. Your articles, comments & sense of humor is always refreshing. I always have one group where I mostly lurk. I've been very busy in GTV Forums, even more so than I was in Web-Nuts. But that forum is huge and I always need a place to call home.

I lurked over at Web Nuts too. Only had a few post. Web Nuts was there for a long time. I hated to see a lot of those people die.

Yeah

I think in the mid-life of that once robust forum the owner shifted stride from a purely technical forum w/side groups for other topics to a conservative leaning theme with a somewhat dubious political agenda. The spark that finally destroyed the forums cohesiveness was to throw an opposing liberal group into the mix. I don't do politics except for light speculation on news or technical issues.

But, boy did dem sparks fly!!!

Lol!!! I took a leave of absence and then ultimately decided to part ways. It closed down a month or so later.

But in the early days that forum was fun...

I'm glad you like it , Carl, and yes, my nic over here is G.Fyre (Wyz) ; Tiz , is still Tiz as he was in W-N.

I still have stuff to post from W-N; I've been having allergy problems ,and my eyes are blurry, making it difficult to read/see clearly.

Doubly glad you're able to help out Whom-e and others that are using Logitech Revue; I feel it goes a long way to opening up this Community , and making it viable, too.

I just love the commeraderie in this game/blog. There is always lots to do or see or participate in-so glad you started it and am sorry to hear of all the passing of all the Nutz passing :-(

I can't remember a Tiz in Web-Nuts. The only time I saw that nick was in Scorpion's forum. But, hey I'm a getting on in years. 56 next month. Isn't that when the mind starts going???

Oh, I just got a glimpse in my memory of a Tiz in Web-nuts. But wasn't it a while ago since he was a regular poster there?
