More wintry weather today and tomorrow. I'm off today, but it's keeping Hubby from working. And I'm supposed to work the rest of the week, but don't know if I'll be able to get there. Will keep checking on it. Surely by Thursday.

Surely , there are others have the same difficulty getting to work unless the Management lives there, I reckon Angie. What does the State suggest about that situation? I know "vital

Well, found out they went and got my niece today and she is staying at the hotel overnight, so she can work tomorrow, even if it's bad. The maintenance man is also going back to spend the night there. I will have to wait and see. I'm afraid it's going to be clear to drive in the morning, then get bad a little later in the afternoon. I don't want to be stuck there, too. Hubby really doesn't want me to go in, but if it's clear to drive in the morning, I'm sure they'll be expecting me. And frankly, I need the money. Really don't know what I'm going to do.

So far it has just rained, with a tiny bit of sleet. I should've went to work, but had to make hubby happy. They're still predicting snow later. We will see. Everything should be gone by tomorrow afternoon, with a high of 45. And I really need to go to Walmart too. Getting low on some things.

Well, the snow really came down this afternoon. Everything is white, and they say almost all the roads are impassable right now. Hope the sun comes out early tomorrow and melts everything, but hubby and I may miss another day of work, which isn't good. My niece is still at the hotel. She had a long hard day today, was the only one there, probably will be again. : (

We got 4-5 inches of snow. That's a lot for us. Hubby got to go in at ten today. I had to call off again. My niece is probably the only one there again. She had to clean a lot of rooms yesterday, not possible to clean all, of course. But it is sunny today and about 38 degrees so it is melting. And the roads are almost clear. I am going to attempt a Walmart trip, soon.

I hope you have someone younger shoveling your sidewalks, Angie, that's an awful lot of snow for you with your bad back to shovel; I'd call first Wal-Mart before going over there to make sure they have what you want still in stock.

Back to work this morning after being off 4 days, 2 because of weather. I did call Walmart before I went to make sure they were open, and she said they just opened at 11. The main road was clear, no problems. We don't really shovel snow, just had to clear it off the cars. Anyway, back later. And this is my weekend off. Poor niece has to work the weekend, too. It will look good on her paycheck, though.

I'm glad the Gov had some sense and closed down the roadways and schools this time around. Those poor children; Teachers that had to stay overnight with 11,000 students ( some of them bouncing off the walls - not to mention missing their medicine), I'm sure were very glad not having to repeat that scenario.

I'm very glad you stayed safe, Angel Angie. Yes, you didn't make any money during those days but you were able to share your "cabin fever" with someone you LOVE !
