Been in the kitchen ( all morning) making Birthday Cake ( couldn't find the right pan and/or the measuring cups) and Birthday Dinner ( couldn't find the right crockpot) , however eventually got everything made ( smaller crockpot was used and different recipe , too) .. . so hopefully after my nap we'll celebrate 
a relative's birthday.  YaY!

Since , we moved a lot of stuff is still in boxes until we buy some extra storage shelves/cabinets to store them in, and then we'll know where we stuff.

Hi blondie, and how are you ?    The temps have been going up here, too.  I've been huffing and puffing about the new place. Called my Dr and they shipped me a new machine ( I was trying to get a refilled nebulizer only !)

Another Funeral this week. Fathers last Brother fractured hip got Pneumonia, passed sometime before morning Monday, had a code so no care except comfortable. 88 last August, was mid Alzheimer's.

So sorry to hear of the loss of your uncle, Henry. You know how close I was to Bill, my father's last brother, as I continue to play WOF in part because of what you all meant to him & his love for the WOF participant family.

it gets so not so many people are older than you.

You have my condolences, Henry ; Angel Angie, I hope you have an Easy Day filled with JOY.

blondie- Thank You, you're very sweet , and speaking of sweet how is Beloved Doris doing?

Beloved Doris is hale, hearty and doing well.  Playing bridge about 5 days a week in addition to our standing Saturday lunch & errands.  Oftentimes, we will supplement with dinner out 1 or 2 times a week depending on our schedules and whatever else is going on.  This Saturday we will be participating in a garage sale in an effort to whittle away at our respective "stuff."  We plan to downsize this year so need to scale way, way back.  We are looking in the immediate area with no luck thus far which may mean a move for Beloved Doris as well if we can't find anything close. We too are no longer young and would like to cut our expenses and WORK!  Doris fluctuates on whether to remain in the house or move to an apartment, condo or senior living that would allow for assisted living as it becomes necessary. Right now, she is somewhat spoiled with me living approximately 1/2 mile away and she would prefer if I lived next door.
