He did not. His daughter messaged me last night that he was at the hospital. The cops took him there. Did not find out until today that he drove the truck for 4 miles on a flat tire, that's why the cops pulled him over and saw how confused he was. They admitted him, and he is still there for now. I have not been to see him because all he says is he wants me to come get him and take him home. Will see how he is tomorrow. At least, he may get some help now. I don't know. They never have before.

Oh, and nobody knows where the truck is. It is not my only vehicle.

I hope he was just belligerent, not Physical when stopped. Well can be thankful no one injured and not a crime to drive on a flat tire. ruin the tire and rim though. and he is not on meds so not under the influence. they may stick him with impaired driving. do you have another wheel and tire? if not how far to a salvage yard to get one. good luck! Truck would be impounded, charge for picking up and by the day. the explorer?

They did not charge him with anything. I called and they even said they have no records of the incident. Still don't know where the truck is, it did not get impounded, at least, not yet. Must be sitting on the side of the road somewhere. I think there's a spare in the back of it. If I could just find it.

They are still keeping him at the hospital. Said they are going to give him a psych evaluation. They still don't want me to come up there, because they think he will leave with me. They are also drugging him to calm him, but it worries me I can't afford the drugs when he comes home. We have no insurance at all. I don't qualify for it.

Ka'at said the hospital itself will call in the Social Workers, and find a way to handle it.
It is good that they suggest you stay away for now, because they'll probably get a court order to treat him; if that happens they don't expect you to pay for it, I reckon.
