I've been off and on the phone most of the morning trying to get something fix, and now waiting for a callback ; the groceries finally came and it wasn't a big order this time around but they seem not to have quite a bit of what we ordered. I guess their shelves are still empty? However, one shouldn't advertise they have the product if they don't!

I reckon so, because we always order after the change over in sale items ( when they restock the shelves for the influx ) and it is mighty strange that, in some cases, the same items sell out before being delivered; someone sued Vons/Safeway about that discrepancy of" in-store" vs "online" prices and availability. Suspect

I don't know who won but they have a note at the end of checkout where they tell you that they can change things around , more or less, and there will be differences between what you see in the store ( in stock) and what is available online. That is one of the reasons after not getting it delivered one has a choice of either going to the store to "get it" or re-ordering ( no rain checks are given) and hoping for the best?! confused

Yes, it is . . mainly because it is cheaper; we can get free shipping and discount coupons ( in store) . They bought up a lot of area grocery stores and one of them that we used to shop at ( they had an online ,too) they bought . It had stopped there online grocery , and then Vons bought out the company.

AmazonFresh is available but their way expensive their fee used to be $299/a year but the firestorm of massive leavings from some of the former AmazonFresh customers ( in Seattle area) made them change the pricing to $14.99 a month/$179.88 a year! That's just the shipping/handling fee/gas mileage fee. .etc.

WholeFoods, is out of our price range ; WalMart doesn't deliver in my area- pickup only; InstaCart , we haven't tried, nor PeaPod.

We occasionally use Amazon PrimeNow to buy foods when they have their $20.00 off deal Very Happy
