I'm currently dealing with a crisis at my apartment, and City officials plus Professional Plumbers have been here assessing the plumbing problem.  

They sent a camera down and found a blockage in my bedroom, and there is no crawlspace so they'll have to drill down through the floor! 

We were supposed to be moved out today for them to fix it with assurances that it'll be fixed in two weeks?! ROFL 

We were given a week to clear two bedrooms , and bathroom ( to the living room and dining room) ; this is affecting 5 apartments and upstairs , above me, has a family of 6 ( today they took 3 showers and one of them was 45 mins long ?! [ our apartment is flooded]) that have to be moved to a Motel with Kitchenette for those two weeks or more!

Every time the Family upstairs takes a shower over 10 mins sewage pours from under our toilet out into the hallway.

When they have to snake the drains ...they shut off the water for the whole complex..68 Apartments!!!!!!   Yesterday, they had to shut off the water 3 times, and there are some miffed ppl on the premises. 

When I was putting out the trash today the woman of the house came down ( headed out) and asked me how I was doing ( I was civil) and I told her very wet ...she said Awww. I continued that we have a Pond in our bathroom, and she kept walking. 

I wish them well with moving ( their daughter is Autistic [ she screams a lot]) and they have a little yapper, too. I know everyone is stressed by this mess. 

I have to finish packing up the food we'll take with us and other stuff, too.

It IS a huge mess, and from what the on-site maintenance man told me today, the floods only happened once a month; they've known about the clogged pipes for 4 years but didn't know about the broken ones until the camera work last week.
