No,I don't any longer. I told the apt manager that I couldn't handle climbing up steep stairs. I'm a Fall Risk and at the moment can't use my walker to go up and down steep stairs. ( I have to go back to the Bone Dr so that I can get off this bloody boot)

I'm now on a lower floor 1 bdrm apt waiting list; I was told by someone else that I could swap Apts with someone else who has a 1 bdrm apt that is on the lower level. Shrugs.

AT&T keeps calling me to get the Internet/Digital phone for $72 a month. The problem is I want/need a Landline phone. How many times has Angie's phone and Internet gone down and she has nothing?!

I have a smartphone but it isn't large enough to handle apps; it's a 4 GB TracFone that I have to constantly empty the Cache in order to updates via Google.

Ka'at was planning on getting me a 16GB TracFone, but of course she passed before it happened. I would ask one of my relatives to buy me one for an early Christmas present but I might be bothering them to help pay for me rent. I don't know.

I didn't pay for those things, just the gas & electric bill. I just got back my Medical Baseline Allowance this week. YaY!

Thanks for the info , Henry; my TracFone has 4G and currently I have 5.5 GB of Data on it. I've been adding stuff to it for just in case I'm offline/no landline phone and I need to text or talk to someone.

I'm hesitant to start something with other utilities because some roof work is being done and that always means rents will go up; I don't want to commit to something and then not be able to afford it. If you know what I mean, Vern?!

What might be better is if I could find a roommate that covered the costs of part of the rent and Wi-Fi. Especially since I cover the Electric and Gas bill. It makes sense that I do as I've said before....

My problem with having a roommate is that I'm eccentric. LOL I still have to clean out all of the extra stuff in here.

Oh and I applied for IHSS and got a surprise visit ....a week later I got a letter saying I was denied service because I wasn't in danger of losing my home. Go Figure?!

My latest "thing" is I contracted a contagious infection from the hospital ---NOT MRSA! It was confirmed yesterday when I told a Chaplain about the rash I had; I thought the Drs were wrong when they told me what the strange rash was.....only because they say it every time they see a rash on me or anyone else I know.

The Chaplain had contracted the Rash, from the same place, when she came to visit me in the hospital. She described it to a T; I thought the rash was from the antibiotic that I got to combat the Pneumonia. I get rashes normally on my back that last quite a few days.

The medicine is quite strong that I take it every 10 days and I got two (2) doses. I had to notify everyone that I came in contact with so that they can follow up with their Drs. Pops, indeed has it too and he was at a Bazaar Saturday & Sunday for Hug-fests! Therefore, he has to notify those ppl about what the itchy rash is ---it looks like flea bites but isn't.

It's an Itch Mite! (scabies) Bedclothes and clothing have to be washed in HOT Water! Everything that is touched has to be disinfected with Bleach. I don't know how one cleans electronic devices ...but I'm not going to clean them with Bleach.

The main side effect of the medicine is RASH/HIVES! The Chaplain got cream for her situation but my HMO wasn't going to cough up money for that. ..but thankfully the pills are tiny and not Horse-pills as I feared they might be.

So, I'm in a sense quarantined. I did however go down to do the laundry because there was no way for me to wash a rather large quilt by hand in hot water, find a place to hang it up and not mildew!

Mopping floors and vacuuming rugs on a rather hot day is a total bore thumbsdown

Life is such a JOY! One never knows what might pop out of the cereal box. Assuming, of course, that you eat cereal?!

A bit of Good News,I was able to transfer Ka'at's phone acct to me.

I'll notify Cox Cable of her passing and of course, her credit union too... but tomorrow. I'm tired of being on the phone.

Spoke to AT&T twice today; they told me that the Access program is very Basic and that for $50.00 dollars a Year, I can get Higher Speed Internet ...even though I'm on a limited income.

I told them I don't do much with the Internet; I play games on Forums, watch YouTube, and do emails. I don't watch Netflix and barely watch the Amazon Prime Videos ( I have Prime - pay it monthly [ could no longer afford the lump sum annual fee])

I found some Calamine Lotion to help combat the itching because Medicated Goldbond Powder wasn't doing anything except causing problems at the back of my throat.

So The company has confirmed that support for version 1803 (an April 2018 Windows 10 update) will be ending November 12. As that date nears, Microsoft is pushing users to install the latest version of the operating system -- version 1903, which has been problematic.

even though 1903 was a headache it will now be forced it sounds like.
