I bought Ka'at the first issue long ago before it became a sensational bestseller! We bought the series on Cassette, and it wasn't cheap...and years later I bought the almost complete set in hardback edition for free via a Book Club! I lost the first book to me Mum acting zany (dementia?) and insisting I give it away to someone who clearly didn't want it! 

Since moving twice, I no longer have any idea where those books are....and buying that first book again " Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone  even on Kindle is too expensive, imho.

You are correct! I have the entire book series. I started everybody (almost) in the family reading them. Have also seen all the movies and own all of them. Love them all.

I didn't see any of the movies, but listened to all of the books!  We got the British version read by Jim Dale, and  he 's any excellent narrator!

Only two other relatives ( uncle & his son [ grownups] ) were interested in the series and had actually gone to a couple of  the opening parties here in the USA.

Sorry about not posting last night, I was really sick; just got back from Drs and of course, they want  bloodwork. It'll happen later ...after I recover from going to see him.
