******WHEEL OF FORTUNE****** Hubby still in hospital. Wondering if this is unusual? Talked to a nurse Friday night. She said he's still combatative. I'm afraid he's not going to remember me at all.

It's between his attorney and the hospital now, I guess. If he's that combative they really can't release him yet. Mainly because if he does something to You the Hospital is libel, I reckon. The Legal Assistant should be too, I reckon.
You have the added situation of that nasty virus gunking things up, as well.
Get in touch with the Attorney and tell him what's going on...again. The situation has reached critical and he needs to do something about it since HE represents your Hubby in the eyes of a Judge.

******WHEEL OF FORTUNE****** No, the attorney didn't take the case. He said he would've had to been diagnosed with more than just dementia and agitation. I'm really surprised the hospital has held him this long.
My SIL said that's where some of the homeless come from.

Yes, Henry, it might be something on the AL law books about how to deal with his condition and no POA. After all there are some that have no nearby families or families at all and they can't just let him loose on the streets. He might harm himself and land right back in the hospital.

Social worker told me they are going to try to place hubby, but I called tonight and they said he had been aggressive all day today. If they don't get him calmed down, no nursing home will take him. Pray if you believe, thank you.

Sounds like they have not gotten him regulated yet, more highs than middles.
Proper med regimen, placement should go fine.
I hope with the meds he still remembers you.
Can people visit in AL nursing centers yet, so he does Not feel discarded.
Only the hospital SW so far i expect, she will do a handoff. Then he will have 2 I'm thinking.
You will soon learn about Waivers. But progress is Good!
Called to see if there is anyway I can visit. They said no. He was being so aggressive yesterday that they put him in a crisis unit. I hope he's not tied down, but probably is. I hope they understand he cannot learn anything from this. I called the social worker to tell her I got the paperwork, and what now? The nurse said she's also been calling her to let her know what is going on. She asked me do I intend to commit? I told her we tried earlier but this time the attorney did not do it. He probably does feel thrown away, and I feel bad that I have.
