I don't go my outlook mail much anymore, saw it come in on alerts on my Fire.

Congratulations on getting a CB ( Chromebook) ; I'm on my Fire at the moment.  I posted the Chromebook Help Forum set up by Former Webbers...that will happily help you.  I just looked at mine which is an Acer C720 (1st Gen) and the Power button is on the top right side. 

I don't use it ....just open the lid and I'm done.  However, when I get up later ...I'll check my CB and see how to restart my CB,too.

Yeah, the screen on my old computer got messed up. Just shows black now. I'd like to figure out how to at least get the pictures off of it. My brother said with the screen black, he's not sure. This is quite different from the old computer. It doesn't have windows. I used to use the restart button quite a bit to get the computer to clear up. No restart button on here as far as I can tell. Operating system is ChromeOS. I did figure out how to turn it on.
