What a Day I've had Today.  Late last night I found water on bathroom floor , immediately called apt manager hoping she'd answer the phone even though it was after hours.  She was in the parking lot so she got the voicemail and was here. Blink. 
It's a Slab leak; it's in the same place that it was twice already.  I had to move my bed frame and nearly all into my late Sister's bedroom.  
They shutoff the HOT water to 11 apartments until today. Cold water was Brown and smelly last night.  I was quite glad I bought a case of water the last time I went shopping.

Everything is fixed except we can't use the Water either Hot or Cold for 24 hrs ( I guess we can for the Loo, eh?)

I haven't eaten or slept.  Rugs will be replaced and cleaned on Monday.  So that gives me the weekend to get the rest of my stuff out of my room ( and put it where, I don't know?) and figure out where to put my computer table and Tower-PC.

Sorry for your woes, Wyz. I had work. When I got home, my cat was nowhere to be found. I looked and looked for him. Finally, went outside to look, though, don't know how he would've gotten out. He was under the trailer. Figure he went out through the hole in the floor where the water pipes are for the washing machine. A possum once got in that way, too.

I'm not currently looking for a place.  No compensation since it was only 2 days , and I didn't have to leave my apartment. 

It's nice, Angie, that another Cat needed a new place to sprawl and found You. 

I haven't had two cats since Thanksgiving, 2017. Milo died the day after. Then we only had Buddy. We sort of inherited him from my son. Buddy was an only cat till he died in June last year. Then we were catless for the first time in years. I was getting my cat fix from feeding the neighbor's cat. And then a kitten showed up. He became Sable. He's a medium-haired black cat with a patch of white on his neck. Getting big now. Think he was born around April 30 last year.
