I'm running late again, I had another Dr phone visit and another referral to another Dr , I think scheduled for Today?!

I'll have the Puzzle up and running later this evening if not sooner. TY

Wednesday there were too many Drs in the SNAFU.  My Primary set up an appt via referral for me to "see" a Gastroenterologist and her office gave me the info; then I got in the mail a paper with the Dr who I would have the phone visit with... 
Two different Drs offices called me to confirm that I had an appt on Wednesday at two different times?!  I wasn't aware, at first, there were two different Drs offices setting up appts to phone visit with me.  

I got called yesterday while meditating at 8 am that the Dr would speak to me at 12 pm.  Then I got a call at 9 am from a NA asking questions about my medicines ( I asked at this point didn't the Referral Dr send over the papers and I got the answer NO) so she said after the questionnaire that the Dr would talk to me at 12 pm.  He spoke to me at 11 am.  Come 12 pm I get another call from a different NA asking if I remembered she had called earlier.  I  told her I'd already spoken to the Dr and I drilled him on the procedure for the colonoscopy.  I asked a lot of questions which surprised him and I asked if he ever had one?  He said NO, so then he really can't say they don't hurt or are uncomfortable now could he?

So the new NA was quite surprised by this revelation and she talked to the Nurses and the Nurses talked to the other Dr and finally figured out what happened.  Their in-House Gastroenterologist got superseded by an out-of-house Dr that my HMO must've approved ?!  

Oh, one other thing, he wanted to do a video chat.  He asked if I had an iPhone.  I laughed and said NO I only had a TracFone and then we went around to whether I had a laptop.  Not a working one.  I also told him my Primary Dr just uses the Voice Phone visit.  He said but the Policy is to have Face Visits because of the Pandemic.  I said if the HMO wants to buy me a laptop with Video capabilities, then by all means we could do it.  He gave up and we just settled with the phone visit.   

Having phone visits is better than having physical visits but can be wearing on the nerves, too. At least one can take a nap after such a jolt.

Don't know how much longer I can do this. Every day, he wants to fight. His appointment with the neurologist is not until August 17.

I have called the Alzheimer's hotline before. They weren't much help at all. Everybody says call the cops. That would just be a temporary stop.

1st Colonoscopy? Anesthesia so good now you don't feel a thing.

Yeah, his kids have been no help. I think they are in denial.

He had a colonoscopy when he was in the hospital in 2018. Think everything came back clear then.

The Dr told me because of my oxygen use I might not get any Anesthesia; I asked about an alternative to that. He said in the end ( no pun intended) that if they find anything they would still have to do the Colonoscopy.  I said then You'd definitely have to give me something.  When my gallbladder was taken out the Drs put me out.
