Took hubby to see the doctor today at the clinic. They wouldn't even let us in the building without face masks on.

My Pops said the same thing when he took his roommate to her Drs appt yesterday.  First they wouldn't allow him to accompany her but then realized they didn't have extra staff to do so , but he said it was a pain. 
In this State, You have to wear a mask outside. I don't see too much of it in my apartment complex though.  I do because I cough a lot and nearly every body here knows it?!

They want him to see a neurologist, but didn't tell me how to make it happen.

He's been sleeping since this morning. Last night I didn't think the meds were working. Now I'm wondering if it's too much.

about 10 days back i had my required orthopedist appt., I had to go in a wrong entry and put on a mask also.

In the online summary it says he was referred to a neurologist, but they did not tell me a name or anything. Just gave me some papers to fill out for the hospital, which we already owe a big bill to. I have sent a message asking for clarification. It usually takes a few days for them to get back to me.

It'll be a referral.  Just need the paperwork done. That's how mine have been done. It can take anywhere from two days to a month or more.  It depends on who will see him and if they have an opening.

He has not gotten on Medicaid? Actually called Alabama Medicaid!

When we applied for him to get disability, they initially gave us both, but later denied SSI, and they said if he didn't get accepted for SSI then he would not qualify for Medicaid either. With the stimulus check and his disability, I think we have too much money in the bank.

did you appeal the SSI denial?

he is getting soc sec, or soc sec dis SSDI? over 62 anyone with enough credits paid in can get regular SS, if getting SSDI they had to have a med determination. but even then I think the age limit is 66.

so he has no county soc worker?

the $2400 will not count for 1 year. home does not count while direct relative is in it.
1 auto allowed per driver. burial expense would be something they let by as not counting, dedicated account at bank or funeral, cremation place. my nephew has a plot with marker, + burial fund, sister is going to add to it from his stimulus check.

The Stimulus Check is not supposed to be counted towards income; a lot of ppl on SSI and SSDI were very concerned about that, too. Was told it wouldn't be counted. Even if You get SS it's not counted, because my Pops thought so too and he was initially not going to spend his until he was sure.  He paid towards two CC end of Stimulating the Economy on his end.

No, it was Medicaid. His Medicare starts in September. I don't really think we can afford it. He is 56. Gets SSDI, was denied SSI. We did not appeal. Wyz, I sent you a pm, I thought. I said if I send the papers to the hospital, how will they know what they are for? There's no account number, or admission.
