I understand what You are going through, Angie, believe me. I had it happen to me and I know of others that it's happened to ...in a way for want of a better word "it's normal".

Have You tried Ensure or the equivalent? It'll help with the meals he doesn't want to eat. If that doesn't work talk to his Dr about it perhaps they can recommend something.

When all this first started in , he was "prescribed" Ensure. He drank it at first back then, but he doesn't really like it. We've had like two six-packs of it that he has not touched in probably over a year. All I know to do is keep trying to get him to eat.

Perhaps, a different brand and flavour? Boost or Slim Fast? Have You tried Baby Food for Toddlers? Maybe he has no taste at the moment or smell.

Does he like Jello? Is he drinking any fluids?

I can see why you're so worried. I don't know what to tell You. Bring up the matter to his Dr. perhaps, I hope they have a solution that can help? If not, perhaps the Dept of Aging-Senior Care ( I assume your state has one) can help You with this problem.

I'm feeling better and just paid for my rent. It is nice out today and just had a long conversation with a Crow? or Raven? in one of the very tall trees outside of my apartment.

I hope everyone is feeling fine, too. There is definitely "Grammarly" on this forum. It corrects my sentences, not just the spellings and punctuation.

Well, I don't know what to do. Hubby woke me up very early saying he's starving (well, duh, you're not eating). Then he won't eat when I fix him something to eat. I messaged his doctor about that and other assorted things. I got a message back from a nurse saying it might be time to put him in a home. I don't know who would take him. He's a felon. I also don't know how I would live without his disability check. I only work part-time. Don't get many hours and really couldn't do it full-time anyway. It's all a huge problem.

The County will take him as far as Nursing Homes are concerned because of his history.
Do You have a relative that could help with expenses? Even be a roommate after he is placed?

Angie I would say he needs a medication evaluation, my nephew gets that way when his depression gets out of regulation.

Maybe an adult group home, instead of a nursing home, try one first.
